Its location, excellent free wifi connection, luxurious hotel room with comfortable beds and Italian shower, free mini bar, free water dispensors close to your room, nice swimming pool with free bath towels, coffee & tea, But what we will remain in our sweet memories are the extensive breakfast (delicious sotos, healthy jamus, fresh baked Pisang Goreng, Perkendel, Timpeh) and the warm felt hospitality shown by all its staff members.

The location was much better than expected; really close to the buzz of Jalan Malioboro. The breakfast was huge and very tasty. The lay-out of the breakfast room is very nice for single travellers. I received a free upgrade from a superior room to a superior suite which was a nice surprise. I had a water dispenser in the suite but they are also in the hallways so you can just fill your bottle whenever you want. And last but not least, even in a friendly country like Indonesia, the staff of Harper Malioboro is OUT OF THIS WORLD. As a single, female traveller, I could not have felt better taken care of. Everyone went out of their way to assist me with whatever I needed, from reception to breakfast staff to housekeeping to bell boy etc. Job perfectly done! I can totally recommend!

It is the BEST hotel in Yogyakarta. The staff speaks good English (including the restaurant) Location is great, security is well with card system for lift. I am totally awe with my dinner there. Too tired to venture out, I order salmon with blueberry sauce with a bottle of binyang beer. It is heavenly.

The breakfast selections were amazingly awesome with good quality of course. All the staffs were so friendly and helpful, Riski and Rosa offered me their new creation of pastry. It was delicious and beautiful. I truly appreciate all the staffs working in this hotel. They all serve guests from the heart. I will definetely return to stay in this hotel again with my big families. The location is superb, I cannot ask for more. The room is clean and comfortable and my little son approved it.

Very comfortable room and huge range/ selection for breakfast, snacks provided in room were free too! Quality of bread options at the breakfast buffet were so-so, but the local foods provided were pretty good - I liked the fruits, juices and many drinks options. Reception staff were polite and service was good, the only occasional issues were more when the staff could not quite understand the query due to his English language proficiency, but I think the service training & attitude of the reception and restaurant staff were as a whole, excellent.
